The PetPace Health 2.0 patented, smart, non-invasive, smart collar is equipped with an array of sensors and backed by sophisticated algorithms that can accurately monitor a range of animals’ biometrics, including vital signs, behavior, and location.
Using machine learning models, and advanced analytics that turn the data into actionable insights for pet owners, veterinarians, and researchers.
The PetPace technology has been thoroughly validated and used by numerous universities and law enforcement agencies worldwide.

The PetPace collar is designed for long-term use. It is lightweight, and comfortable for the dog, and simple to operate. No shaving or clipping is needed, as the collar can collect the signals non-invasively through fur and skin.
The collar is ruggedized and waterproof, complying with the IP66 and IP68 international standards (IEC).
Battery consumption depends on the usage profile. WiFi is significantly more energy efficient than cellular. Therefore, we recommend connecting the collar to your home WiFi network and to other networks where the pet may spend substantial amounts of time, such as in an office, day care, or relatives. Under normal circumstances, for an average pet that spends most of the day at home and takes occasional walks outside, the battery will last around 3 weeks between charges.
The battery is charged using a designated charger supplied by PetPace. A complete charge takes approximately 2 hours.
A leash should not be connected to the collar since the tagging and pulling that comes with it will interfere with the collar operation.
PetPace’s patented smart collar technology was developed by leading veterinarians and validated by top universities, research institutions and government agencies, making it the most advanced collar of its kind.
Our smart collar patents cover a range of revolutionary capabilities, including remote, non-invasive, and continuous capture of vital signs anytime-anywhere, even while the pet is on the move, and near real-time analysis of the data and alerts.
Only PetPace’s proprietary technology uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to analyze measurements across all major vital signs, physiological, behavioral biometrics, and location data for assessment of pet’s health and detection of diseases.

Multiple non-invasive, all-passive sensors are incorporated inside each PetPace collar, including:
Data is collected continuously, 24/7, and is stored in a cloud-based database. Thousands of data points are accumulated daily for each pet, whether the pet is at home, on a walk, or practically anywhere.
We recommend keeping the collar on the pet at all times (except for charging) for best results.
The data is displayed on mobile and web applications and is being updated automatically according to settings selected by the user (available sync intervals are 2/5/15/30 minutes).
There is also a special GPS mode (Find My Pet), that updates location data every 1 min and can be used when the pet runs away or gets lost.
If the collar is not on the pet for some reason, it will stop collecting data to avoid mixing true pet data with irrelevant noise. Once the collar is back on the dog, it will go back to collecting data, as usual.
Data is transferred from the collar to the PetPace servers using either WiFi (when available) or LTE (cellular).
When your dog is at home, or near a known WiFi network, it will save energy by preferably using the available WiFi network. The user can add WiFi networks by selecting “Collar configuration” under Pet Settings.
If no WiFi network is available, the collar will use its universal SIM to connect to an available LTE network.
If neither WiFi nor cellular networks are available, the collar will store the data in its internal memory cache and download it automatically once it is back in converge.
Data is aggregated and analyzed continuously by the PetPace analytical engine. We apply 4 layers of analysis:
